Let's meet Riggnarok!

Greetings ladies and gentlemen, I’m Riggnarok and here are some things that you might want to know about me if it’s your goal.

I'm going to begin this article by telling you that I enjoy movies, some of my favourite ones are Sweeney Todd, Corpse Bride (and, to be honest, a lot of other Tim Burton movies), Harry Potter (all of them) and also most of Disney's movies (Zootopia being, in my opinion, one of their best.).

In terms of series, I’m a huge fan of Game of Thrones (my favourite character being Arya Stark, house Stark will win !) and anime (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Kill La Kill, etc.).

I also read books and comics: my favourite ones are the three books 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami for the novels and The Walking Dead for the comics. 

1Q84 is about two characters, Aomamé and Tengo, they are in their mid twenties and both living a normal life when suddenly, on a highway, everything is going to change.




Although music is an important part of my life, I listen to almost every kind of music but my favourite kind is definitely Metal/Rock music.  

If you’d ask me to tell you which is my favourite band I wouldn’t be able to choose, but if you ask me to pick three of my favourite bands, now I could answer you :  
The Pretty Reckless, Queen and Steel Panther (this one is not for all ears so be careful if you want to listen to some of their music.). [They've got a rough sense of humor, though!  Mrs P.]

To end this article, I could also specify that I’m in love with everything related to Japan and that I’ll probably talk about it on this blog, if I can of course.

    I love Tim Burton movies, Game of Thrones, 1Q84 and the Pretty Reckless !
    By the way, I'll talk about another Murakami book on my article, Kafka on the Shore.

    Ooh, Corpse Bride is one of my favourite film *-*
    I listen to The Pretty Reckless too, "Going to hell" is my favourite song !
    Hehe, the Stark will survive.
    I don't really like anime, but I've heard about Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and it seems to be cool :p

      Haha, I understand you, Corpse Bride is such a great movie ! It's definitely one of my favorite too ! :)
      "Going to hell" is one of their best song I totally agree and if you want my opinion "Just Tonight" is my favorite one from them.
      Yes they will ! (I hope xD)
      I can understand but I strongly recommend you to take a look at it if some day you have some free time and don't know what to do, this one is really different than the others in my opinion. :D

    I've seen Zootopia and I don't regret watching it, it's so much more than an animation movie for kids, i think it has a hidden message that denounces racism ( also i ship Judy and Nick, really weird isnt it ? loool )
    I love metal too, what's your favorite kind ? For me it would be prog metal
    Your presentation was really interesting and pleasant to read :^)

    Your nickname is similar to "Ragnarök", is that a reference ?

      I think so too, that's why I love it so much, this movie not only denouces racism but also sexism (that's just my interpretation though so I'm really sorry if I'm wrong) and almost everything about this film is awesome : the animation, the directing, the casting, etc.
      I understand you, prog metal is a great kind ! I'm sorry but I can't just pick one, I like almost every kind except the "hardcore" styles, I prefer when I can understand the lyrics if you get my drift. x)

      It is^^ in fact, to be fully honest, it's a double reference, "Riggnarok" comes from a video game (called "Brütal Legend") and the name of this character is inspired by "Ragnarök" so you are right in a way ! :)

      Well as I read the comics before watching the series, I didn't like the fact that they completely changed the behaviour of some characters, it annoyed me a bit, sorry, but as I said maybe I should give it an other chance :) but what about you ? what do you like about this series ?^^

      Oh I understands ! I love everything of this series, the characters, the atmosphere, the suspense...I became attached a lot to the characters and I look forward to being October 23rd to see the season 7!!!

    I should probably watch more of Burton's movies, as I have only seen The nightmare before christmas for now. I should also watch Game of thrones, but I prefer watching animes when I have some time, maybe I'll have a look at Jojo's bizarre adventures one of those days, as I have heard good things about it. ^^
    1Q84 is part of the books I would like to read, as I have already read Kafka on the shore.
    (And I approve the Brütal Legend reference, although I haven't played the game XD)

      Well if you liked "The Nightmare Before Christmas" I really advise you to take a look at more of his movies ! Tim Burton really does an awesome work.^^
      If you like conspirations, death, tears, fire and blood (yeah that's how I'd put Game of Thrones in a nutshell xD) then this series will be perfect for you but I understand you, animes are really great and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a true monument in terms of both animes and mangas so I definitly suggest you to take a look at it ! :D
      If you read Kafka on the shore, I probably don't have to explain you why Murakami is a genius (sorry, maybe I worship him too much xD) and 1Q84 are honestly among the best books I've read !

      I don't have a favorite band, but I like to listen at : Jacuzzi Boys, Burnside, The Maximators, Dead Ghosts, Corpus, John Frusciante, Led Zepellin, ACDC and many others... and you ? Which band do you advise me ?

      Oh ok, thank you, you made me discover bands that I didn't know (and they were pretty awesome so thank you again !).
      Well my favourite bands, as I said in my article, would be The Pretty Reckless, Queen and Steel Panther (I really advise you to listen to the first two if you haven't already^^ Steel Panther is only optional xD) but if you want me to suggest you some bands I would suggest you Pink Floyd (as this band is famous maybe you already know them but they are way too awesome not to be mentioned in my opinion), Danzig, Airbourne, Dio, Celkilt and a looot of other bands but if I list everyone of them, this comment will be way too long x)

    I love Disneys movies too, I've never seen Zootopia but I should.. My favourite Disney movie is The Lion King. I listen to rock and metal too :)
