I think that learn is really difficult, because of accents, verb tenses, formal modes, etc. (English is easier to learn), but it would be hard for an English or an American to understand what a French says when he speaks English, because when a French uses a French accent when he speaks English, it's weird to understand... :)
They can understand if our prononciation is a little bit well.. For my case, I had some problems with the word "since" but I could make myself understood, this is the most important ! Kiwi~
It depends but french is pretty hard to learn and i think that english persons can understand us even if the accent is bad for some persons, when an english person speaks french it's the same and we are able to understand most of the time Stuffed rabbit
