Sitting on a bench series: Tommo's article


Hello everyone ! 
For this new article, we had to imagine a conversation with someone that we know or not. On any subject, in the past or the present. 
Well, in my article I speak with Marie. She is a girl who makes videos in youtube. I have never met her, but I really would like to.

I imagine that we are sitting on a bench, in a park. 


Marie : Do you know the NekNominations ?
Me : No, what is it ?
Marie : A stupid game which turns on Facebook ! I explain. People nominate you. You have to film yourself drinking alcohol, and you have 24 hours to do it.
Me : You're right. It's completely stupid... Do people really do it ?
Marie : Of course, yes. And there have been already 5 deaths !
Me : Horrible ! How is it possible ?
Marie : They aren't "happy" of their video, so they start again and again to film themselves. And they drink too much alcohol...
Me : It's weak and dangerous. What do you suggest instead ?
Marie : Instead of the NekNominations, I propose the HelpNominations !
Me : And what they are ?
Marie : It's simple and more intelligent. You film yourself doing a donation to an humanitarian association. And you post your video on the web with all the others who did it.
Me : I like your idea. I'll ask to my parents to do a donation.
THE END.

Actually, after I saw Marie's video, I really asked to my parents to do a donation. They told me that they were already donating several times a year.

    I follow EnjoyPhoenix's channel, and I agree with you: "Neknominations" is a stupid game. I don't see the interest to drink alcohol in front of a camera and to post it on social networks, and I think that people who do that don't see the consequences of this kind of things. Nowadays, a lot of bosses watch their employees' Facebook account to see if there are not things (as photos or videos) that don't risk to ruin the image of their company. And even if these videos are deleted, there always be a mark because the historics stay in Facebook's data base. Moreover, a lot of people who do this game say that "it is like drinking alcohol in parties", but not at all... when you drink in parties, you are mostly with your friends, you enjoy the moment, whereas when you drink in front of the camera, you are alone in your bedroom, you look jaded and stupid (even if alcohol stays dangerous for health, in each case).

      There's no link: there's a series of videos about people talking on a bench, and they are just illustrative. Each article is different and you'll see all the videos are different too...

    I agree about the "NekNomiation", it's really a stupid game. But i don't agree with the other idea about donations, because to do a donation must stay a personal choice and stay confidential; Facebook is dangerous, we have to admit it.

    I've already seen this video. I this it's a better Idea to do " HelpNomination " compares to " NekNomination". I think to drink alcohol to be interessting it's a very, very, very, VERY stupid idea.

      Yes and instead of donate, we can give a sndwich or food to homeless or clothes. This is free and if we don't want anymore a clothes we can gave it.

    I like your article ! "Helpdonation" is a better thing than "NekNomination".
    I already done a donation when I was little. It was for a sick child and his parents can't pay the surgery to save him. 6 months later, we received a letter to thanks us because he was saved. :D
