October 2nd 1998, it’s my birthday soon…
I’m in literary Terminale
class (7th year) with Extra English .
Before I practiced
horse-riding but I do not have the time anymore.
I like listening to music, see
my friends and TV series and today I’m going to talk to you about my favorite
TV series and that of many other people I think, it’s Game of Thrones.
This TV series is adapted from a series of novels better known under the
name of A Song of Ice and Fire (A Game of Thrones) written by George R.
R. Martin since 1996.
It became an American TV series of medieval fantasy or drama.
The first episode of this series was published on April 17th
2011 and until now 5 seasons have been broadcast.
I’ll give you a brief summary
about this story.
On the continent of Westeros,
the king is Robert Baratheon.
He governs the Kingdom of the
Seven Crowns.
His main advisor dies.
The king goes in the north of
the kingdom to ask his friend Eddard Stark, nicknamed Ned, to become the King’s
Hand (a sort of Prime Minister), so the Warden of the North goes to the
capital, Kings Landing.
At the same time, to the
Northwest of Westeros, the bastard son of Ned Stark, Jon Snow, integrates the
“Night Watch” to protect and defend the kingdom from what lives on the other
side of the wall made of ice, stone and magic.
The return of a race of
creatures that disappeared happensbehind the wall, these monsters are called
the White Walkers.
In another continent named
Essos, located at the South East, the legitimate heir Viserys Targaryen wants
to take the kingdom of the seven crowns. For this, he married his sister
Daenerys Targaryen to the lord of war, Khal Drogo, to get the protection of his
people to achieve it.
But none of these events will
be conducted as planned, but to know I invite you to watch this series…
For my part, my favorites characters are Jon Snow played by the
beautiful Kit Harington and Daenerys Targaryen played by the amazing Emilia
Clarke.
I like their story throughout the seasons but I can’t tell you more if you
have never seen and you want to watch this most famous TV series !

ReplyDeleteI love this series because I'm in love with Middle Ages (and a little more like 16th to 18th centuries)
It's very intersting, Daerenys (play by Emilia Clark) is very beautiful, I have to say this ! Haha. And, I'm sorry but I think that Emilia is more beautiful blond than brunette...
Get back to Game of Thrones now ^^ This TV show is very captiviting but I can't be attached to a character because... I won't tell you why, it will be spoiled the TV show ^^
