Hi everybody! I’m RockNBlur, I’m 17 and I’m a new student in Mrs P.’s second year group (I was in Mathematics specialty last year but I stopped).

I live in a big beautiful house, in a little village next to school. I like to do a lot of things: I spend my time playing the guitar (I have three guitars: an Epiphone Les Paul (an electric guitar), a Framus Texan (a folk guitar) and a Yamaha (an acoustic guitar)) , playing videogames (Minecraft is one of my favorites), doing sport, feeding my own blog, listening to music, watching series and movies (I’m a huge fan of the serie The Walking Dead and I really love The Lord of the Rings trilogy), making polymer clay jewels, and of course studying!

I use to listen to a lot of music genres, one day I’ll listen to rock music, another day I will listen to folk music, the next day I will listen to alternative music, etc. One thing is sure: I’m fond of cult rock bands. But one of my favorites still is “The Pink Floyd”.
If you don’t know them, it is a British psychedelic rock band. It was formed in 1964 and it split up in 1996 (my birth year!). The members of this group were David Gilmour, Syd Barret, Nick Mason, Roger Waters and Richard Wright. Their most famous albums are “The Wall”, “The Dark Side of the Moon” (the album with the prism), “Atom Heart Mother”, etc.

To me, it is a very cult band. In fact, their songs, their clips and their concerts are decadent and awesome.
It has a very big place in my life because I’ve always been rocked by their music (my parents are huge fans, and for the record, the music of my baptism was extract from the album “Pink Floyd London 1966-1967” in which the Pink Floyd played with the London Philharmonic Orchestra).
Moreover, I played “Atom Heart Mother” at the end of my first high school year with the Music option, so each time I hear this album I have goose bumps because it makes me feel very nostalgic.

    The song which I prefer particularly is "wish you were here", this song is so beautiful! And I agree, it's a very cult band and quite special but very good! ;)

    I'm not a fan of Pink Floyd, I just like some of their songs but that's all ! I think " Wish you were here " is my favorite one from the ones I know :)

      Yes, I know Uncharted and Assassin's Creed, I've never played to them but they seem good (I'm waiting for the release of the PS4 with impatience!)

      I don't know if I'm gonna buy it because I already have PS3 and like I'm a boarder, I can't play when I want, it's just the week end.. But I can understand you're impatience ! ;)

      Personnaly, I'm playing to "Crisis Core : Final Fantasy VII" on the PSP (I've restarted to play with my PSP waiting for the PS4), it's a really good game, the story is awesome! :)

    Hey rocker ! What do you think about Nirvana, heavy metal or hard rock metal... Cause I've created a hard rock band and with my friends we're going to post our songs on ITune... It's a little bit violent sound like Slipknot

    I love rock but not too much Pink Floyd... However, I adore their "sign", the triangle with the rainbow :)

      I chose this nickname because it is a mix between two hobbies: rock music and horor games (as Slender or Amnesia)

      The picture with the triangle is the picture of "The Dark Side of the Moon" (the most famous Pink Floyd's album), it represents a glass prism which decomposes white light in colored light (it's a scientific way to know the colors that the white light has)

    I always wanted to play Minecraft, i tried playing it on my iphone but it was boring and not the same as in the youtube videos.
