Would you like some King's cake?

In January, in France , we all enjoy a "Galette des Rois"


with a trinket ("fève") 
                                                                  in it that makes you King or Queen for the day.



What about other culinary traditions?

    I didn´t know this tradition, in Germany we also celebrate this day but we don´t have any "king´s cake" but now I can say that I tasted it and I found it delicious and funny :). moreover I was twice the queen !

    I like king's cake .
    I think it's a big heavy to eat this .
    When the sap it's find I don't eat more

    I don't like king's cake because I don't like "frangipane" but I'd like like it but .. yuk!

    Even if I'm allergic to frangipane when I was younger I collected trinkets and my brother ate my cake portion :}
