Paperplane would be Tommy... but not for real.

Caution: this is a fiction and in no way does this blog condone any kind of violence (though we've been known to be lenient on Zombie killing in the past!...)

The fictional character I would like to be is Tommy from Grand Theft Auto.


This is because he has just been released from prison for killing 11 men!
When I am angry, I just want to be in the game, drive around like an idiot, listen to Flash FM and pretend I kill everyone with a gun or simply drive into them!

 Tommy is part of a mafia family.
This intrigues me as I would like to know how these illegal organisations operate.

I would like to eventually work my way up to the top and become a Don.
I would be super rich and smoke cigars everyday.

 The adrenaline it would give me for (imaginarary)killing people and owning fancy cars and women would be too high. I would wake up every morning in my mansion in Vice City, thinking I am in paradise!
 
Tommy has no feelings and is a cold blooded killer.

 This is another reason why I would like to be like him. I would like to kill my enemies!
I could own many different weapons and test them on humans!
My favourite things to do in the game is to run around the streets causing absolute chaos.
 I love walking into supermarkets and throwing grenades at civilians.
I enjoy listening to their screams and watching them explode into pieces.
Furthermore it gives me extra thrill when the police are chasing me after I cause chaos!
 
It gives me immense satisfaction when I walk into a club, climb onto the podium and discreetly take out my flamethrower.
I then burn everyone to crisp and laugh at them when they dance faster because they are on fire!

PS: Mrs P. this is just an imaginary article, please don't think I am a psycho lol !

    I like the games "GTA", especially the last one: "GTA V" (even if I don't have a PS3 or an Xbox 360), I've played this game at my best friend's and I think this game is cool! :)

      Me too!! I'm totally in the game, and I think that videogames are extraordinary because we can do everything we can't do in real life (I'm quite shocked that a lot of journalists say that some people are terrorists because they use to play videogames as Call of Duty or GTA)

      I don't understand either why some people say that video games makes us violent. I think if someone becomes violent playing video games, it's because this violence is already in him ^^ Because personally I'm not at all ! :(

      Yes, and there is a big difference between someone who plays every day and every night, without having a rest and without going outside, and someone who plays occasionally just to have fun and to relax, because I think that playing all the time can indeed be bad for physical and mental health.

      Video games are so sick! Of course they will have a negative effect on the body if played for a long period of time. But I don't agree that a game can influence a person's actions. If someone was to go out and kill innocent civilians, then I think that person has a dysfunction in the brain that they had already prior to playing a game like GTA or COD.

    This game is nice, because you can do everything you want without hurting real people, because it's just a game.
    You're probably not a psycho, but unfortunatly, people do these kind of things in real life, like if they were in a game but it's not the case...

      I agree with you, I think that a lot of persons can't differenciate "real life" and "virtual world", because some play without pausing and during days and days, and also becaus some are already violent. Personnally, I love videogames because it makes me think of something else when I'm bored, but I definitely think that it must be a hobbie and not an excuse to remain locked all the day... real life is outside!!! :)

    I completely agree, GTA is a good way to channel his hatred, better do it in a game than in reality?

      In this game when you fall into water you drown and as I have a crazy drive I always crashed into it!

    GTA is my favourite game! I never tried the 5th one but it looks so badass.
    But I think it is quite strange to pretend like a mafia serial killer in real life whereas in the game it's very cool and funny.

      Try the 5, it is class, we believe it (for against change in the keys, the ps3 is really more complicated than the ps2 ...), there is a good soundtrack, the fact of change character, and each with a different scenario, the game will run differently depending on the player. Try it, there was worse as "Stories" which served as bonus. And then he must remember the first games, where we saw high, so very wrong!

    Maybe finally a proof that video games can be useful in a way... But i'm not sure GTA is really a reference lol. I played to Vice City a long time when i was 8 and my favourite thing was to still and drive cars, and especially to flee the police. haha !
