Ce qu'il avait eu (had had) n'avait eu aucun effet (had had no), etc... C'est parce que HAVe est à la fois auxiliaire (pour construire le present perfect HAVE + Participe Passé) et le Pluperfect (HAD + Participe Passé) et verbe (AVOIR)...
