Sweet Lisa, on Grease...



I’m going to introduce myself (again), I’m SweetLisa and I’m eighteen, I’ve got one brother with who I fight pretty often, but I think that’s just how it works between brothers and sisters.
For my eighteenth birtday he offered me a tattoo saying “family above everything”, he got the same tattoo and my parents are going to get the same too.
Family is the most important to me, I know they’ll always be there for me, and I’d do anything to make them as happy as they can be.

Enough with the family. What about hobbies?
The thing I love the most is (of course) watching TV!
To me, watching films or series is like escaping in an totally different world.
I also feel this when I listen to music, it’s like some songs have been written for you, you know?
My song of the moment is Warrior by Demi Lovato.
 
 – I know a lot of people think Demi Lovato is just the girl who played in Camp Rock, a “Disney girl”. That’s what I thought too, until I listened to her songs…
Her songs’ lyrics are wonderful.-

Let’s talk about the best movie ever! Grease of course! (I’m sure it surprises you Mrs. P!)  Well...no, it doesn't!^^
 

When I was like seven I was watching it something like every Sunday.
It always has been one of my favorite film, it takes place in the 50’s.
The story is a bit “cliché”: it tells the story of a bad boy falling in love with a wise girl who never made silliness.
Danny (the bad boy) and Sandy (the goody-goody) meet during the summer, on the beach.
Sandy is supposed to go back to Australia after summer but it turns out she stayed in the USA.
In her new high school, Sandy meets Frenchy a girl who’s in a kind of club named The Pink Ladies. She introduces Sandy to the group who’s not used to hanging out with this kind of girls.
After some questions, the “Pinks” find out that Sandy knows Danny Zucko, the most popular boy of high school.
Rizzo (one of the Pinks) makes a “surprise” to Sandy (it’s actually ‘cause she’s laughing at her) and brings her to Danny while he is with his gang (The T-birds).
First he is happily surprised but fast he figures out that his buddies are laughing at him because they’re not used to see him attached to a girl.
 So, to preserve his reputation, Danny acts like he doesn’t care about her.
And it’s the beginning of a wonderful love story between two different worlds.
During the movie we can see them flirting, getting in trouble and fixing everything.
Grease also tells the story of fights between two gangs.
 At the end we can see Sandy totally transformed in the role of a bad girl to completely seduce Danny (which works perfectly).

    Hi Sweetlisa! :) I like Grease too, I think it's a wonderful movie (in the same category, I love the musical comedy West Side Story). I enjoy the way the Glee cast made an episode about this film! Moreover, I like Demi Lovato (even if usualy it's not my style of music), I like her song "Nightingale". You know that she starres in the 5th season of Glee?

      I'm glad, I finally found someone who actually saw Grease!
      I haven't seen West Side Story but I know some songs which are really great, I should watch it soon!
      I agree, Glee made a really good job with those episodes about grease!

      I saw the second episode of the fifth season of Glee, I was kind of chocked when i saw Demi Lovato in it but it was a great surprise! I can't wait to watch the next episode !

    It's very beautiful to see a close family, everybody must have it too.

    Grease is a very good movie, but I really disliked Grease 2 !
    John Travolta was not bad at this time, but it will never exceed Zac Efron in HSM ahaaa (sorry, it was to tickle you <3)

    I know Demi Lovato and I like very much her songs (Especially "Made in The USA") but I didn't know "Warrior" and I really love this song !. You are right, her lyrics are wonderful *.*

    I agree family ils the most important when you have a family who deserves to have a place in your heart. I think like you, even if i haven't a tatoo :).

    I love that film! =D All the songs are so fun and addictive to listen to.
    I agree with you, Demi is one of my favourite singers; i think that in this perticular song she sounds like Christina Aguilera, dont you?
