This sentence refers to the book and the movies "Bilbo the Hobbit". It tells the story of Frodo Baggin's uncle, Bilbo, who is also one of the most known hobbit in the Shire, because of his beautiful adventures. At the beginning, Bilbo is a coward and he has the reputation of all the hobbits have: he likes having his feet under the table every night, sleeping early and he hasn't the profile of a man who loves adventures (even if he is in the family of a lot of hobbits who were very strong). But when he was fifty, Gandalf the Grey, a wizard, came to find him to take him on a beautiful adventure. In fact, he had to help the army of Thorin, a dwarf, to take back their treasure (and mainly a very precious stone) which had been taken by Smaug, an enormous dragon, which had destroyed their realm. So, I think that this sentence wants to tell that even if you're not meant to be a hero because destiny hasn't made you have adventures when you were a child as in Star Wars (you're a Jedi when you are born, so it is thanks to luck), as in Narnia (Lucy has found the magical wardrobe because she was in the good house, it could have been any children) or as in Harry Potter (it is the same thing as in Star Wars, when Harry was born, he was already a wizard, so it is thanks to luck that he received a Hogwarts letter). But you don't know what destiny reserves you, so you must still be carefull: maybe one day you will be taken to live an incredible adventure, and you will become the hero that everyone admires.
He explains that he isn't in Star Wars, nor in Narnia, nor in Harry Potter and nor in Lord of the ring. Nothing interesting or supernatural happened to him/her since his/her birth.
Not exactly: he or she (or me!!!) hopes to get in an adventure, like Bilbo the Hobbit... It's not Lord of the Rings, as it would involve Frodo, not Bilbo. But nice try!
Don't mistake fantasy (Narnia, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings...) and science-fiction (Star Wars, Star Trek). There's no real chance you get a question about that for the exams but... if you do, thank me!^^
