Folt, on Brokeback Mountain...


Hi!
And welcome to the new ones! You will see the blog is awesome! (yes, it is! Mrs P.)
For those who don’t know me I’m Folt!
I am in the last class in my High School. (Yes, I know everybody is in the same High Schoolin this blog!) If you want to know more about me, I was born on February 14th in 1996 (so guess my age!); I have one sister older than me and… I don’t really know what to say… I love to go to the cinema and listening to music!
 

 
 
Now, as I like the cinema, I will speak about a film that, for me, is cult (even if I’m not sure if it’s  considered a cult movie).
 
This movie is Brokeback Mountain.
The story is about a meeting between two cowboys in Brokeback Mountain.
They have to herd sheep, during the summer, and with the passing of the days they feel the attraction the one another.
After the season, they are separated.
They met up 4 years after and only a single look is enough for reviving a love born in Brokeback Mountain.
This movie (with Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway) won 4 Golden Globes, 1  gold Lion at the Venice Film Festival and 3 Oscars.
I chose this movie because it has really marked me: it’s a beautiful love story between two gays and I think we have to watch it because it teaches a lot about a love between two homosexuals and we have a different view of them.
I agree that it can shock but it’s the aim of the movie!
Moreover the acting of the actors is absolutely good!
Well, this is my point of view, and I hope you will watch it (or maybe you’ve already watched it!).

    I love this film ! It's once of my favourite !

    The storie of this film is very dramatic and I think some people can know this kind of situation.. Pathetic !

      And nevertheless I don't like romantic movies! But this film is a pure masterpiece! (PS : I love Jake Gyllenhaal too and Heath Ledger, they are my favorites actors!)

      Heath Ledger is my favorite actor too! I almost watched all of his movies and my favorites are The Dark Knight in the role of the Joker and Brokeback Mountain of course! He was a great actor

    I love Heath Ledger, he was an amazing actor who could act every types of characters! I enjoy Jake Gyllenhal too! Did anyone see the movie "Prisonners" (it was released lately)? It is a good thriller that is very moving. Jake Gyllenhall acts one of the main characters (there is also Hugh Jackman in this movie).

      Oh yes I watched prisoners! What a sad story! I think it's a good thriller (even if I don't like this kind of movies...) but sorry I think I don't want to watch it again! ;)

      Oh yes, Ang Lee has chosen very well the actors, they are just perfect! And moreover they had the courage to play a role which was rejected a lot by the other actors.

    I'm totally in love with this movie ! I think that Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal were made for those characters ! Folt, if you remember, it's me who tell you to watch it, and you didn't want to but once you've watched it, you thought just like me: it's an amazing movie, maybe one of the best we've ever seen !
