YMCMB on a film

Hello everyone ! My name is Garance (but here call me YMCMB , it is coolest !!), I'm 17 years old (18 in february, I'll be an adult !) and I'm in the final year of high school.
 
 I'll talk to you about my favorite movie which is in my opinion a cult film.
 
It's "500 days of Summer" ("500 jours ensemble" in french.) 
So that's the story between a young man (Tom) and a woman (Summer), very different from each other. 
But beware, this isn't a love story (as stated in the voiceover). 
This is the story of their lives, how they  met and how their Relationship progressed. 
For me, it is cult because it is different from other romances,  the ending makes us understand the moral destiny, that much can make us think about our future, and make us understand that we must enjoy every moment with our friends, the person you love or the family (and for once he's not an ordinary love story where the two protagonists are a couple at the end!).
Can also be easily identified in one of the two characters :
-The young man, rather shy, madly in love with the girl (and shows it!)
- Or the young girl quite cold, reluctant to be in a relationship with him.
In short, basically, this is not a love story with a good ending, but that makes the film interesting! 
 



 

 
 
 

 
You guessed it, I like movies that have a surprising ending, which we did not expect. 
Besides, my favorite TV series is Pretty Little Liars,which is very  successful in the United States but is still little known in France. 
A  mysterious series about the secrets of group of friends, composed of five girls, one of which is assumed dead.



But unlike the film and the series, my favorite actor is Zac Efron, not only for its beauty, but also for his acting talent, one of his films also participated in the Cannes Film Festival in 2012 (The Paperboy). 
As a leading actor for Disney, he was able to get away with a great talent.


For music, I'm very open, I listen to EVERYTHING. But I focus primarily on Reggae, Dub, Electro, Rock, and some rap US music.

    I don't know the movie that you talked, but I like this kind of movies! So I think I'll watch it ^^
    Like you, one of my favourite series is Pretty Little Liars! I'm addict to it *.* Hanna, Emily, Spencer and Aria are awesome !

      Nice to meet you too Tommo. It is clear that too, from the first episode, I hang directly, it is a series full of suspense.
      My favorite character is Emily because she is quiet and nice, and especially very beautiful!

      Yes, Emily is my favourite character too! She is beautiful and I love her clothing style *.*

      Actually, I don't know too much what kind of rock it is, but I like Linkin Park, Paramore, Nickelback and The Pretty Reckless :) Do you know ?

    I have already watched 500 Days of Summer, and I agree, it's a good movie but not my favourite! (But I like Joseph Gordon Levitt, he's one of my favourite actor!)

      Personally, my favorite scene is that of "expecting" and "reality," I think it happens to us all to have desires that are not realized ..

      YES ! I know, I listen too an i like. But nothing exceeds 30 second to mars for me, and Fall Out Boy, i was very happy when they're found last year. And lately I discovered Fauve is rather a French alternative rock band :)

    Hi YMCMB! I didn't saw the film you're talking about, but I like love stories so I think that I will watch it :) I don't watch "Pretty Little Liars" but my sister watches this serie and she says that it's great :)

    It's seems a good movie, I think I will watching it.

    About Pretty Little Liars, I was watching one episode, and I direclty thought that it's just a series of "gossip" between stupid girls. Sorry, I'm a little bit straightfoward, althought I don't really know this series ^^'

    About music, I listen to every kind of music too, but I prefere electro.

      Yes, it's all in the mind, but 18 years is a step! The Year of the BAC, the year where you can get the driving license, the year in which we are responsible for our economies .. It is from this age that we become responsible, then I think, everyone thinks as he wants ! ;-)
