In January, in France , we all enjoy a "Galette des Rois"
with a trinket ("fève")
in it that makes you King or Queen for the day.

ReplyDeleteI didn´t know this tradition, in Germany we also celebrate this day but we don´t have any "king´s cake" but now I can say that I tasted it and I found it delicious and funny :). moreover I was twice the queen !

Even if I'm allergic to frangipane when I was younger I collected trinkets and my brother ate my cake portion :}
