If I made a donation
for an association, I would give for an association : « La
ligue contre le cancer ».
This association was created on
1918, is a french association and called an association law state-
approved and was performed with a people's generosity , on the
commitment of its volunteers, and employees trained to help patients.
« La ligue contre le cancer »possesses 103 departmental
committees in France and in overseas.
This league arouses
significant progress in treatment and quality of life.It defends
different poles like a fundamental research, clinic research,
epidemiological research ( = studies the factors affecting the
incidence of disease and the health of populations), human science
and social.
Indeed, this league
establishes more services for amelioration the quality of life of
patients like financial support, physical activity adapted, a help
psychological, socio-aesthetic treatment, amelioration of comfort in
hospital, housekeeper....
It allows too,
changed mentalities towards cancer ( promote the patients's rights)
and would like engage at the International scale especially in
French speaking countries in Africa or Asia.
« La ligue
contre le cancer » organize, a foot race during 24 hours ( a
festive and educational event that allows to raise fund with sports
and games relays, gastronomy, concerts, shows, fashion shows,
creative workshops, children's entertainment etc..) , « la
coupe de l'espoir » with golf tournaments , products, and « une
rose un espoir » who more than 4500 bikers and 10,000
volunteers offers a rose against a donation of 2 euros.
I speak of this
association because, I have a friend, Alice, a musician from Nevers
and she has a Lymphoma. She's 21 years old.
Cancer affects more
and more young people and is first cause of death in the world. We
are young, and we are all affected with this disease because we all
know a loved one with cancer.
It's our generation
that is affected. Donate at least 1 euro. This euro will help research
against cancer.
