Scorpio Alpha and the pleasant atmosphere in the classroom!

Well, well, well, here we are again left on writing a new article ! 

And this time we were to talk about an object that has revolutionized our lives and in fact I did not have a lot of ideas ... 

I could talk about a sofa because one of my friends would love to spend his life on the couch of the other fellow, but no ! 

The object that I will present is a very precious object 

used by our English teacher, will you know ?

 No ? 

Still not ? Then I'll show you in pictures !!

 And yes, it is indeed the famous scent diffuser !! 

To operate simply put a small bottle of the flavor you want, such as lavender or citrus flavor. [You all said citrus was nice! Mrs P. ^^]

This object is revolutionary because it eliminates the bad odor that prevails in the room because of the students who work very hard in English class ! 

This object allows us to put ourselves in a good atmosphere to work, it really is magical ! 

It is also good  that you can  use the object  to continue to feel the atmosphere of the classroom and continue to work at home.

 I hope this short article will have taught you more and long life scent diffuser! :3

Amazilena and writing...

  So, we had to talk about an invention and explain why we chose it, and why it's something which is wonderful.

I thought of the subject during a long time, and every time I would like to speak of another thing. 

Indeed, there's a lot of bad things in our world.

 But in my opinion we tend to forget that there are too good things: the nature, the science progress to cure deceases, music, arts in general and other luck we have...

        

The choice was a bit hard but finally, today, i'll talk about writing by different point of views. 

It was invented in 3500 before Jesus: a long time ago. 

Let's explain why I decided to speak about it, which seems to be very old at a time where we make an automatic link between inventions and technologies.

   Firstly, writing was a way to count, and only to count. 

But quickly, we remarked that it was usefull to have an other way to give informations without using the voice. 

Moreover, we liked the idea of being able to describe the reality of a period. 

And it's really important ! 

Imagine, without writing we couldn't know many things about the past, about History. 

We could'nt have the same education as the one we have now, and maybe we could'nt be aware of what happen in our country, in our world. (I especially think about the news paper which was one of the first way to have the news). 

     But what I found of is writing in his artistic part, his poetic side. 

To my mind, it's sad to think that everything or almost has an end, and that when one day i'll desapear, all of me will desapear too. 

But it's not really true. 

Indeed, writing is eternal, poesy is eternal. 

The image of the ink on the paper is perfect to show that. 

It's sad too, to imagine a world (when phones, internet and all technologies didn't exist) where you can't have news of your family if she's far from you.

 For example, my grand parents were separated when my grand father was called to go to Algerie. 

They had to sent each other letters to continue their love...during 6 years !

 And today they have loved each other for more than 50 years. 

What about it if they couldn't write love words...? 

     To finish, to write is really a good way to get rid of what you feel, sometimes when you're sad, disapointed, angry and also when you're happy, proud or I don't know. 

It helps to stick words on feelings you can't describe, or maybe you don't dare to say to anybody. 

And i think that it's even sometimes better than spending his time on facebook, to smoke cigarettes or other thing which seems to help people, but in reality increases their unfortune. 

What if we could feel better only with some words, some points, some ink and some paper ?

The Geeky side of Maelstorm!

To be honest I consider myself an Internet addict.

 I feel upset if I don't connect to the Internet everyday and most of the time I don't even do anything productive, which I find is a problem for a lot of young people today.

I could talk about the drawbacks of Internet all day but it wouldn't change the fact that it has been an innovating invention, in my opinion.

The Invention

Hi everybody ! Our teacher gave us a work very simple : choose a invention that we love and explain why. 

The invention that I love the most it's the car. 

A long time ago, people moved on foot or with horses.

The disadvantage, it's when people would like travel from a city to another city, who sometimes was at the other side of the country. For example, if you live in Paris and you want go in Nice, the travel was very very long, boring and more dangerous (with attacks of bandits). 

Moreover, there was no sign of safety or highway code (however, it's another story!). 

So, people travel during many days to reach is destination. 

That's so difficult, isn't it?

The good side of this situation is that no have pollution, but, for moove easier on the country, it's very complicated!

But in 1883, a men invented the first steam car. That's a good idea, isn't it ?

Over the years, the car has been more and more improved by many people like August Otto, Cari Benz or Henry Ford.

Today, the car is more secure and reliable, even if accidents occur.

Why I like the car, and why I found it useful ? Because the car can move you everywhere in few minutes or few hours. You can do anything with a car : go on your job, travels...

Moreover, nowadays, you must have a car for work on a job !

The invention I chose for this article is photography.

 It was invented by Joseph Nicéphore Nièpce in 1824.

I chose to present the photograph because I think it is revolutionary!!

Thanks to this invention, we can remember a day that we would never want to forget. With the time, we forget all kinds of details. Let's take an example; a day at the beach. You're with your friends having a really good time with them, playing volley ball or anything. This great day that you spent was three years ago. 

You remember that you had a great day with your friends but you can't remember everything. With some photographs that you took, you can remember for example that there was a lot of wind and that it made you laugh a lot because the ball kept going in the water.

We could take another example (inspired by an episode of Grey's Anatomy of course...) imagine you have an accident that makes you temporarily amnesiac; photographs can help you recover your memory. 

Photography is an art; it allows us to express our feelings and to discover the world, we can actually see poverty in some countries 

But also the beauty of the world we’re living in…

I really think that the photograph invention changed the world; we can do all kind of things with it.

 Photographs can be cute, funny, sad or nostalgic. It shows us another view of what’s around us, it can express the cruelty and the beauty of the Earth, sometime even in the same photo:

To conclude this article, I’d say that the photograph is something revolutionary and wonderful. Nowadays, could you imagine a world without any photos?
